Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and username. Your password is scrambled in your browser before it is sent, and we store only a further-hashed version.
• Gameplay: puzzles you solve, times, match results, point and gem transactions, store items, and settings.
• Support messages you send us.
• Purchases: what you bought and when. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
• Usage data: pages visited, referring site, screen size, browser and device type, and a random visitor ID stored in your browser. We use this in aggregate to understand traffic and fix problems.
• Error reports when something breaks in your browser (the error message and page, not your personal data).

How we use it

To run your account and matches, keep balances accurate, prevent cheating and fraud, answer support requests, and improve the game. We do not sell your personal information and we do not show third-party ads.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that run the Service for us: hosting (Cloudflare), payments (our payment processor), and email (Google Gmail, for support replies and account notices). Other players see your username and game results only.

Public leaderboards

If you choose a player name, it can appear on public leaderboards with the stat being ranked (for example, puzzles solved or Versus wins) and any name color or title you equipped. Your email address is never shown.

Advertising

We are applying to show ads through Google AdSense, so our pages load Google's ad code. No ads are shown yet. When ads start, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, and, where allowed, to personalize them. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent first. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Ads are never placed on the puzzle board or during a race.

Storage on your device

We use your browser's local storage for your login session, settings, an in-progress puzzle, and the random visitor ID. We don't use advertising cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account data while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account through Help & support; we may keep transaction records where required for accounting, fraud prevention or law.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
